The Center
Apnea Today provides cutting-edge testing, diagnosis, and treatment for sleep apnea in Glendale, California. The challenge was to create a brand that felt medical and authoritative, yet calming and hopeful for patients struggling with sleep.
The Design
We developed a modern abstract symbol composed of concentric circles and cellular shapes. This imagery represents the opening of airways and the restoration of natural breath. The gradient of calming blues reinforces trust, serenity, and the promise of a restful night’s sleep.
Calm by Design
The brand imagery commits fully to the promise of rest. The white icon floats over blue night-time photography of a patient sleeping peacefully, and the marketing banners pair the mark with images of successful treatment rather than clinical equipment, leading with the outcome patients actually want.
The gradient system moves through a narrow range of calming blues, deep enough to feel medical and authoritative, soft enough to feel safe. Logo variations on white, blue, and black backgrounds cover everything from referral letterheads to night-mode website screens, and the tagline carries the clinical specifics: testing, diagnosis, and treatment.
The Result
The final identity strikes the balance between clinical authority and patient comfort. The concentric airway symbol is immediately recognizable in medical directories and referral materials, helping Apnea Today stand apart from competitors who default to generic health imagery. The calming blue palette works especially well in waiting rooms and digital touchpoints, reinforcing the promise of better sleep before a patient even speaks to a doctor.
