The Brand

The Australian Barber is a Budapest-based manufacturer of artisanal grooming products, including beard oils, shaving soaps, and classic hair pomades. The brand needed to bridge the gap between the rugged Australian outdoor lifestyle and the refinement of a classic European barbershop.

The Design

We created a vintage-inspired visual identity using hand-lettered script typography and gold foil accents. The branding exudes masculinity and craftsmanship, while the black and gold packaging elevates the handmade products to a premium shelf status.

The Result

The hand-lettered script became the anchor of a cohesive product line spanning beard oils, pomades, and shaving soaps, all unified by the black-and-gold packaging system. We designed each label to feel collectible, with subtle layout variations per product while keeping the core typography and foil treatment consistent across the range. The rugged lifestyle imagery (surfing, tattoos, raw outdoor light) reinforces the Australian heritage story without a single cliché kangaroo in sight. The premium positioning allowed The Australian Barber to secure shelf space in high-end Budapest barbershops and online grooming retailers across Europe.
