A fierce Black Panther mascot integrated with a futsal ball and shield - honouring the iconic heritage of one of Portugal’s most historic clubs while inspiring the next generation of athletes in Porto.
The Academy
The Academia de Futsal Boavista FC is the official youth development program for one of Portugal’s most historic clubs. The branding needed to inspire young athletes while honoring the club’s prestigious history.
The Design
We centered the identity around the iconic Black Panther (“A Pantera”), the symbol of Boavista FC known for its aggression, speed, and agility. The logo integrates the panther profile with a futsal ball and shield, using the club’s traditional checkered black and white with gold accents to symbolize excellence and victory.
The Result
The mascot logo now appears on court floors, team kits, and social media across all youth categories. It gives the academy a visual identity that is clearly its own while maintaining the heritage link to the senior club. Young players and parents immediately connect the panther with the competitive spirit Boavista FC is known for in Porto.
