The Client
Wind Dancer offers high-end sailing tours in Traverse City, Michigan. The goal was to create a visual identity that elevated the brand above standard tourist attractions, appealing to a sophisticated demographic seeking a premium sunset experience.
The Design
We crafted a fluid, continuous-line logo that captures the silhouette of the schooner’s sails in the wind. The Deep Nautical Blue color palette reflects the waters of Lake Michigan, creating a clean, timeless look applied across crew merchandise, digital assets, and the vessel itself.
The Result
The continuous-line schooner mark elevates Wind Dancer above the typical charter boat look, positioning it as a luxury experience on Grand Traverse Bay. Crew merchandise featuring the logo has become a conversation starter with guests, and the clean nautical aesthetic translates seamlessly from the hull of the vessel to the booking website. The brand now matches the quality of the sunset sailing experience itself.
