Cottages & Castles is a premier home inspection firm serving the diverse architectural landscapes of New Mexico and Texas. In an industry built on precision and trust, the brand needed an identity that felt grounded, experienced, and deeply connected to the regions it serves. Whether a client is buying a modest starter home or a luxury estate, they receive the same “royal” level of scrutiny and care.

The Design

We developed a comprehensive badge-style logo that serves as a visual story of the Southwest. The illustration captures a classic high-desert sunset over a mesa, integrating iconic elements like the saguaro cactus and a house silhouette that bridges the gap between “cottage” and “castle.” The earthy terracotta and deep teal color palette reflects the natural beauty of the local terrain while maintaining a professional, high-contrast look. A companion brand, Southwest Radon Eliminators, was also developed to extend the identity into environmental safety services across NM, TX, and CO.

The Result

The badge logo immediately roots Cottages & Castles in the landscape they serve, building trust with homeowners before the first inspection begins. The illustrative style sets the brand apart from generic competitors, and the warm terracotta and teal palette translates naturally to vehicle wraps, report covers, and uniforms. The companion Southwest Radon Eliminators brand extends the family identity into environmental safety, giving the business a cohesive presence across three states.
