We developed a commanding brand identity for St. Michael’s Ventures, a New York-based investment group. The design challenge was to create a symbol that conveys both historical stability and aggressive modern growth.

The Design

The resulting logo centers on a modern heraldic crest - combining a protective shield, wings for speed, and a subtle crown. The striking monochromatic red color palette ensures the brand distinguishes itself from the traditional blue of the financial sector, signaling boldness and authority.

The Result

The heraldic crest gives St. Michael’s Ventures an immediate sense of legacy, even as a newer player in the New York investment landscape. By choosing red over the expected blue, the brand creates a strong visual separation from competitors in pitch decks, investor reports, and corporate stationery. The MV monogram within the shield works as a standalone mark for digital applications, making the identity versatile across both formal print materials and social platforms.
